Now a Louisville Cyclocross Collective race, Bandit CX is stoked to be a Ohio Valley Cyclocross Series (OVCX) “tune-up” race for the 2025 cyclocross season!
We’re keeping barriers (to entry) low!
Bandit CX is a low-cost, low-frills race, aimed at attracting new riders - and helping “seasoned” riders ease into the best cyclocross season you’ve ever had!
So, set your dial to “fun” (and your expectations accordingly!)
Registration fees are only $20 for adults and $10 juniors, kids under 9 race free. Race more than once? Sure!
The course will be fast and fun for riders of all abilities. More official than “hot laps” but not quite an OVCX race.
The categories are broader, the results will be manually tabulated - and the podium prizes will be goofy!
Bandit CX does NOT require a USAC license, but will be reported to CrossResults for those sweet sweet callup points.
Registration will be ONLINE ONLY through RunSignup, with reg available the day of until 30 minutes before race time.
All proceeds from the race benefit the 501c3 nonprofit Louisville Cyclocross Collective, who help maintain Eva Bandman Park and cyclocross in Louisville!

Categories are condensed somewhat to keep things simple(r) for our team to manage results
Results will be manually tabulated (with a video backup), and results will still be posted to CrossResults, which factor into your OVCX callup!

BANDIT CX HISTORY
Founded in 2023 by Seamus Silliman (The Post Racing) and Miguel Washington (Godspeed Collective), Bandit CX has always been about getting new folks to race 'cross! In its first year, Bandit CX drew more than 100 racers - most of them new to the sport.
Back for it's 3rd year in 2025, it is now an official Louisville Cyclocross Collective race.
It's the perfect start to your best 'cross season ever.
